Datsun 240Z Safari Project

This is a 1973 Datsun 240z with 60,500 original miles to start with, and it is also the original paint and interior.

This car was chosen for this project due to not being sold twice via online auction, and with the original paint color and battle scars over the years, it made sense to do a Rally type car that worked with the original paint versus repainting the car, so we built all the accessories to work with the original body work.
It is running its original powertrain and original suspension to qualify for some historic events, along with being a great daily driver car that really catches the eye of the public, and it is going to be offered for sale via BAT Online Auctions in the next few weeks to see if the custom changes will peak the buyers interest this time.

Enjoy!

  1. What a lovely idea, Robert.
Have you used longer springs to put it a bit higher?

  2. Very cool in deed. I’m getting some kind of The Walking Dead association here …

  3. Very stylish. Has the auction taken place already?
